These terms are the agreement between you and Wham Bam ("we", "us") when you use the game at whambam.games or our mobile apps. By playing, you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the game.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to play Wham Bam for your own entertainment. You may not:
Some game modes involve holding a phone to your forehead, acting things out and moving around. Look after yourself and the people around you. Play in a clear space, do not play while driving or operating machinery, and stop if you feel unwell. You are responsible for your own safety and for supervising children.
You can play without an account. If you create one:
Accounts are intended for adults, or for children with the involvement of a parent or guardian. See our Privacy Policy for how we treat children's information.
A generous amount of the game is free. Free decks include a set number of words at no cost. Watching a short advertisement grants additional words. These amounts are part of the game's design and we may adjust them as the game develops.
Prices are shown in the game before you buy and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Payment is taken by our payment provider, or by Apple or Google if you bought inside a mobile app.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel before it ends. You can cancel at any time:
Cancelling stops future charges. You keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
Purchases made through Apple or Google are governed by their refund policies, and requests must go to them. For purchases made on the web, contact us — we will handle requests fairly and in line with any refund rights the law gives you where you live.
The game, its artwork, its name and its word decks belong to us or to our licensors. Deck content is drawn from general knowledge and popular culture; names of films, brands, people and works belong to their respective owners and are used purely so the game can be played. No endorsement or affiliation is implied.
If you use an account, your display name and scores may appear on public leaderboards. Choose a display name you are comfortable showing publicly. We may remove entries that are offensive or obtained by cheating.
We aim to keep the game running, but we do not promise it will always be available or free of faults. We may change, suspend or discontinue features. If we permanently discontinue a paid feature you have already paid for, we will deal with that fairly.
You may stop using the game at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or where we are required to by law. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will warn you first.
The game is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Subject to that, our total liability to you is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or USD 50. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
If you are a consumer, you keep all the statutory rights your local law gives you, and nothing here overrides them.
We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top, and announce significant changes in the game. Continuing to play after a change means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and the courts of the UAE have jurisdiction — except where consumer protection law in your own country gives you the right to bring proceedings there.
